Gay ass little doodle I did a while ago of Hydra and their partner Idris
From a sorta AU with a friend (or well it's kind of an AU if we count Hydra in my comic project as canon)
Idris belongs to my friend Mango!

So. At the suggestion of @sophieinwonderland, we've been visualizing a big lighted sign above our bed that reads, "REMEMBER".
She recommended a neon sign specifically, and the full phrase, "Remember your dreams!"
But ours is lit by incandescent bulbs like an old theater readerboard, and has the one word, written in bulbs.
It's worked very well for us, too. Every night that we take the time to visualize it before falling asleep, we reliably remember our dreams the next morning.
Well, tonight we're trying something different.
The sign now says, "DRAGONS".
Now, technically, all of our dreams are full of dragons. Because we're all dragons. But most of us take human form, like the foxes in Tale of Nine Tailed. Probably because we live amongst humans in a humanoid body in the outworld, and it just becomes habit.
But whenever we dream of having our full draconic forms, we wake up in euphoria the next day, so it’s worth trying to push for it.
So that's what we're doing. Hopefully it will work.

Okay so I have zero idea how ask games work or if it’s currently active but….
I got like two I desperately need to know about!!
🪸 & ♈️
🪸: I’m curious if any of your selections for the creatures coincide with their district or rather something from their personality and could you give examples of possible?
♈️ : Is the zodiac magic person to person or a whole wide district type thing that only ever occurs in said district?
Do they have certain techniques depending on the district?
Are abilities separated between the rich and poor in the districts?
Hi!! So technically this ask game was for me to write a snippet of the WIP's you pick and I can definitely still do that if you want me to! But expanding on these AU's can definitely be fun as well! So while I write the other requests I've gotten so far I'll answer yours since I'm a very slow writer. Also, finals has fried my brain and I'm so happy I'm almost done but I just cannot think straight enough to write right now so explanation it is!!
🪸 So the creatures aren't District-specific, I give the tributes whatever I feel fits their character best, but the variants are. It's bloodline related, but environment has impact on the people of the Districts. So for example: District 4 has a lot of sirens and mermaids, because they're so involved with the ocean, and their humanoid form only has legs so they can walk on land. They spend most of their time in the ocean anyway. Treech is also a siren, but he only has forest lakes as underwater domain. Therefore his humanoid form is practically indistinguishable from humans. Sea sirens have a very echoey voice, fitting for an open space as large as the ocean, but sirens like Treech have a more ethereal, magical, otherworldly sounding voice, associating them with a magical forest. Sirens in 7 also have more greenish colors where Sea Sirens have fully blue scales. My sirens always have some kind of hydrokinesis, but where Sea Sirens have full water control Treech would have a weaker control over water in exchange for being able to use his voice out of the water more effectively. Unlike Sea Sirens he can actually use his voice magic while talking, though it's most effective when he sings.
Lucy Gray is a faun because she has the nature-loving vibes to me and also she sings, but with D12 so focused on coal mining there just aren't many sirens there. Her magic is in any music she makes, allowing her some control over nature. Coral is a (water) dragon, because she's very protective over those she cares about and I felt like it fit her general anger at her situation in both the book and the movie. Mizzen is a fairy, because mythologically fairies tend to be very mischievous. Lamina is a firebird, but with added thunderbird qualities. She's like the wind, seemingly weak until it flings you through the air like you're nothing. Also, she has a hidden fire in her that you'll only see when it's too late.
There's a few examples :)
♈ohoho I have a lot to say about this AU but idk who to talk to because idk anyone who might be interested this specific one so I'll ramble about the magic system I created for this for a bit and wonder if anyone would want me to talk about all the plotlines I've thought up for this AU.
Is it person-to-person or district wide? Surprise, it's both! Every district has a zodiac sign (D13 has Ophiuchus) and the powers are vaguely based on that, but everyone has a mostly unique set of powers or combination of magic types. The districts aren't actually numbered based on zodiac signs though, they're still numbered based on in what order they joined Panem. This is long so I'm gonna put a cut here lol.
Virgo: I don't have a big explanation for this, it just felt right with the magic I could come up with, so I'll say a maiden in stories is usually beautiful, like jewelry and gemstones and stuff. Facet gets enchantment, he can bewitch people to basically fog over their mind if he can talk long enough for his magic to work or if he can get close and do magical hands around someone's head. Velvereen gets potion: she can take plants and combine them into potions with a positive effect and a negative downside to go with it, depending on what potion she makes. The downside gets bigger the less related the plants the picks are to what she wants her potions to do.
Sagittarius, because... Honestly this and 12 were the last ones I decided on and it was either Sagi or Scorpio. Sagittarius is fire, which feels like it fits more with weaponry. Marcus is connected to the archer part of the constellation, being able to basically influence people's odds in battle, including his own. He has stupidly good aim because he tips the odds of hitting the target in his own favor. He can basically boost his allies and make his enemies a lot less lucky on the battlefield. Sabyn, on the other hand, is more connected to the spirituality of Sagittarius (the optimism) by being able to influence people's emotions so strongly she can basically cripple them by trapping them in a mental breakdown spiral. She can push them to give her answers she needs, distract them, or help them gain the confidence to do what they need to do. Possibly the way her power works (influencing the neurons in the brain, essentially, and the chemical structure) allows her to also have mild control over people's perceptions of the world by blocking information from reaching the brain and maybe even enables her to use mild healing powers.
Capricorn is ambitious and goal-oriented, and I think you need some level of ambition to be an inventor. Teslee can create anything by picturing it with her mind. She needs to know its components and requires some kind of object to transform, but she can make virtually anything. She needs to imagine the inner workings too, though, so if she doesn't know how something works she can only make something that looks like what she wants. It won't actually work, because she didn't make the inner mechanism that makes it function. Circ has a form of spacial magic which gives him the ability of telekinesis and teleportation.
Pisces: Fairly obvious, I think. Their whole deal is fishing, so their sign is pisces the fishes. I briefly considered giving them aquarius but ended up going with the more cliche option. Coral clearly feels deeply, though we mostly see her anger at the world and her care for Mizzen. Coral's powers are basically energy manipulation. She can sap energy from around her and turn it into something else, whether that be light or a soundwave or electricity or a whole laserbeam. This is because Pisces is seen as a sign that's very in-touch with spirituality and stuff. Mizzen can turn his skin into protective scales that he can reflect light off of to blind his opponents and make some weaker magical attacks slide off of him like water slides past fish scales.
Leo is related to the sun. The sun gives energy. Sol can draw energy from the sun and turn it into both strength and laser beams. Hy can shapeshift into any cat-like animal and expel brief bursts of boiling hot air from his body.
Gemini because Mercury is apparently ever-changing and that reminded me of transport. Gemini apparently blends really well into any group because they can adapt to the vibe, so Ginnee can read people insanely well and just knows how to act and what to say to make them trust her or get them to do what she wants. Also, she will always appear like she belongs where she is, so even when people are actively looking for her, specifically, they'll look past her because she doesn't look 'out of the ordinary'. Otto gets the duality side of the deal and can speed up or slow down time within a specific radius around him. It doesn't have to include the whole radius, so he can slow down time around one person or speed up just his own movements.
Aries: I think it fits Treech and Lamina. The ram is usually associated with courage, confidence, and a strong personality, but before a ram is a ram, it's a lamb. Lamina shows she's fully capable of being strong and courageous, despite first coming across as weak like a little lamb. She ends up being a very offence-heavy fighter. Treech, meanwhile, is more on the defensive side. @ylvisruinedmylife's Electric Rebels characterization of him fits best here, where he's very insecure and not the fighting type, but he can show his horns when he needs to (on an individual level, Lamina's more Leo/Cancer while Treech is more Pisces/Gemini, but I digress). As for their magic: Lamina gets pyrokinesis for the fiery personality type Aries stands for, as well as 'reflect' where she cuts the air with her hand, creating a flash of light that will deflect an attack or even redirect it back at her opponents, inspired by diamonds being the gemstone for Aries. Treech has 'wool', where he can generate wool with his hands that absorbs any impact or attack that hits it. He can also use it as an attack but its wool so it doesn't do much damage on its own. It can trap people or push/throw them into a wall. He also gets 'impact' inspired by the way rams attack. It requires a lot of energy to use but he can aim his hand at someone and blast them backwards, nothing's hitting them but it feels like they get bodyslammed by a ram. He can also accelerate the speed of an attack with it. Both Lamina and Treech have small horns with a slight curl to them when their powers are activated. Their hair also gets very soft and fluffy like the wool of a sheep, though it's more noticeable with Lamina because her hair's longer, her tips are basically a cloud.
Libra, because it's associated with venus and thus beauty. It's scales, which work with gravity, so Bobbin gets control over gravity within a specific radius. He can only affect small areas at a time but hey, smashing a whole squad of peacekeepers to the ground is still fun yk. Wovey has the power to balance out anything. If you're very mad, she can balance you out with ✨aura✨ until you're no longer flipping out. If something's so heavy it's about to break something she can balance it out so the thing that's breaking is strong enough to hold. You have a laser canon? Guess what! She can balance out that energy to neutralize your laser! You wanna fire a gun? She can balance out that gunpowder and make it useless!
Cancer, because the moon phases reminded me of harvest phases. This is one of the spares, I fear. With the moon being so tied to the tides, Panlo's magic is magnetism. He can turn anything into a magnet, both himself and others. What is pulled towards the magnet is something Panlo can decide himself. Sheaf has the reflective properties of the moon (reflecting the sunlight) and can reflect anything away from her. If someone attacks her, she can reflect their attack back at them. She can reflect light like a mirror. She's basically a mirror with defensive properties.
Taurus, because Taurus is a bull and... Livestock. That's it that's my explanation (oh and disrespect for authority because Brandy and her response to Arachne's "authority"). The element of Taurus is earth, so Tanner gets... earthbending. It's basically just earthbending with the added fun that dirt and sand counts as 'rock' to me and you can't stop me. Brandy gets control over any precious metal or ore, because of Taurus' wealth aspect. I'm very creative (please don't judge my energy tank is rapidly depleting).
Aquarius, the giver of life, felt appropriate for the district credited with being the country's main food source (rip 9 and 10). Reaper has hydrokinesis. He can control the temperature and form, but cannot technically make it. He can just pull it from any source he wants, which means he's capable of some brutal stuff since humans are like- 75% water. Dill has plant magic. She can grow roots from the ground and control the plants around her.
Scorpio, occasionally said to have sly personality traits? Their spirit color is black like coal. Jessup has shadow magic, he can manipulate shadows and melt into them. Pretty straightforward, but since shadows are just the absence of light he has some extras most people wouldn't expect because people keep forgetting that shadows are just the absence of light. He's basically displacing the light (and thus warmth) and while he can solidify shadows because magic, he can basically blast people with freezing cold. Lucy Gray can negate magical spells or curses. Just destroy them or negate them immediately. She can absorb them for a limited time and possibly place them on something else too.
Ophiuchus.

saiki au. its in modern times but fantasy as well. the cast is fantasy creatures and stuff and ive done this in a similar manner a bit ago but ive a betrer idea now
saiki is still a dragon (eastern because noodle) and hiding it, and this time its being theyre nearly extinct and so powerful theyre usually compared to deities and worshipped despite often just wanting to live a normal life just like everyone else
so, aince his humanoid form he can take is kind of an anthropomorphic version of his true form (which isnt all that big, he can function decently well inside of buildings), he pretends to just be a kobold. kobolds here are not known for particularly strong magical prowess and arent all that uncommon.
his scales are white/gray because of his cat form in canon i always tend to do this, and back, head, and tail fur is pink. his kobold form still has fur (but long hair) which makes him a bit of an odd kobold, but its not outrageously suspicious, and can be passed off as odd genetics.
hes smol, only 5 feet or 1.5 meters because hes got quadruped styled legs despite standing on 2 like kobolds do. his true form is a bit taller than nendou in height and is very long.
a strange idea for this au as well is that saikis adopted, his adoptive family (which is his canon family) arent dragons or kobolds. idk what they are but yeah
and heres a quirk of this au that all my aus tend to have before i post them, i just usually cut them out because its getting to the point that its becoming just an original story but these stupidly specific aspects are always in my aus, i just wanted to share ine for once:
while living in the orphanage at a very young age, meaning his magic control was limited (except for his ability to take his kobold form, because hes been practicing that for his whole life because of how his true form is treated), saiki was hit by a car. his healing ability wasnt very refined and his leg was injured pretty gruesomely, and he healed it wrong. it was technically healed even if incorrect and very painful still, though, and he couldn't do anything more to it. its injured permanently, making it hard to walk sometimes if its hurting more than usual, and its generally pretty weak. he uses a cane in private but is sadly a bit too ashamed to bring it in public, despite there being nothing wrong with it
rest of the cast is fitting fantasy creatures that im pretty sure i have identical in my other very similar au
kuboyasu-werewolf
hairo-centaur
nendou-orc
teruhashi-harpy
kaidou-vampire
aiura-siren
toritsuka-pathetic kitsune
akechi-just a human. sorry akechi
this is probably pretty boring but i dont really care. i like it. and its probably more bizarre than most of my aus because i didnt cut the odd details that make it practically no longer an au and more of an original story
if you read this au regardless thank you

//some ooc/worldbuilding q's ive been curious abt !! >:3 ur free to plead the fifth on any/all of it since ik its a 'living'/ever-evolving world
does dórverold have 'monsters'/fantastical non-humanoids? if so, any specific ones you've already decided on?
can vampires drink other vampires blood for sustenance (like they can/do humans')? can they drink the blood of animals, etc, so long as theyre AliveTM?
does. are magically-created beings (vampires, valravn, etc) un/able to reproduce --xually??
ask me about my lore! | @futurefind was curious!
Tumblr media
1. does dorverold have monsters/fantastical non-humanoids? if so, any specific ones you've already decided on?
the only non-humanoids i've decided on are dragons and technically valravn ( if they are unable to eat a human heart, they remain in a half-raven half-wolf form ), but more are definitely possible! i know sea monsters of some sort exist bc the sea god sjór created them to spite humans who caused a famine that his children had to suffer through. aside from that, i haven't gotten deep into creatures in dorverold -- it's something to think about, though! i do want to say that there might be certain " great beasts " that are endangered, in hiding, or extinct for various reasons ( typically war, the passage of time, and generally not vibing with the mortals of the " modern " age ). in example, dragons are uncommon but do exist. they are few in number, though there never was a lot of them, and they remain in humanoid forms to avoid being hunted. they were created by líf to be guardians of the land and sea, but very few still act as such since the gods went away.
2. can vampires drink other vampires' blood for sustenance ( like they can/do humans' )? can they drink the blood of animals, etc., so long as they're alive?
sadly, drinking another vampire's blood will not provide any sustenance, though it will give the illusion of a full belly for a little while, kind of like how coffee curbs one's appetite but does nothing to actually sate your hunger. a vampire's blood does not have the vitality that a regular mortal's has, so it's no good for food. basically? a vampire is not only drinking a person's blood but the natural energy in their blood as well. hopefully that's not as confusing as it sounds to me rn asdf that said, they can drink animals' blood and often do/say they do as society does not look kindly upon vampires who prefer mortal blood. mortals get all nervous about it if a vampire admits they prefer a willing mortal over blood from the butcher.
3. are magically-created beings ( vampires, valravn, etc. ) able to reproduce?
it really depends on the being! vampires are still undead even if their bodies are able to function normally as long as they drink blood, so producing life would be impossible or, at the very least, highly improbable. valravn are probably capable of reproduction, but valravn aren't meant to be loving, nurturing individuals who desire to have a family. it's not impossible, but valravn are better known for living alone and prioritizing their survival and comfort. if they chose to, a valravn could reproduce with a mortal, but that child might first appear like a fresh valravn -- a beast in need of a first meal. dragons are able to reproduce with each other and mortals, which is how the dreki first came about. a dreki child whose parent is a dragon will be much heartier than the dreki of today, though, and may even possess some of their parent's innate magic. and i'm just realizing dragons are not magically-created, so i didn't need to talk about them asdfg but have that as a bonus i guess :' ))

Anonymous asked:
"You and your people aren't human. You're just like those filthy beasts that disguise themselves as human." They're just beasts hiding in human skin. The Agarthans are the true humans.
The irony is lost on him.
"Hide my identity and live in fear of being outed by you? Of being caught by your children? You want me to live at the mercy of you again?! Your option is nothing more than a DEATH SENTENCE!" he yells, kicking her in the jaw before spitting on her.
Gorgias doesn't continue, however, stepping back. "You are too pathetic to kill. May you never regain your memories," of her family, of the things she once could do without pain, of the happiness she once had. "You do not deserve them."
He turns and leaves, disappearing into the heavy rain of the night.
(you asking an agarthan to chill?? an agarthan? theyre like. anti chill)
She stared at him. “Well, yes. We are dragons?” That was common fact. Of course none of them were human, they only took humanoid shape. What about that was so hard to comprehend? One technically couldn’t keep their dragon form 24/7! She designed everyone like that. Yes way back when most of her children chose their dragon forms but switched to interact with humanity.
Sothis glared af him again. It was only one option! He can continue suffering then! He can - strike her again. There’s awful blood in her mouth and she’s on her back from the force of the kick. She didn’t deserve such abuse. She propped back on her elbows and returned the spat, gold landing on his shoe.
Absolutely revolting.
She watched him leave with no comeback. He didn’t deserve one. She’s glad he’s finally gone, to leave her alone. The absolute audacity he held.

I have a weird question. I was watching Zootopia and started wondering, would beastmen be affected by Night Howlers? Would Octavinelle being mer creatures be affected? Would Malleus be affected since he's a dragon fey?
Tumblr media
It’s been a while since I watched Zootopia, so I went to consult various wiki pages to make sure my information is correct 😅
For people who haven’t seen the film, Night Howlers (also known as Midnicampum holicithias) are flowers that have potent psychological effects on those thar consume it or are exposed to its pollen. They induce a chemical reaction in the brain which significantly decreases activity in most parts except the cerebellum (a part of the brain primarily responsible for balance and movement), which becomes hyper stimulated. This essentially shuts down the victim’s higher reasoning and reverts them to a wildly aggressive and savage state.
Something I want to point out is that, across all of the sources I referenced, it was stated that only mammals are affected by Night Howlers while bugs are outright killed by them (making Night Howlers an effective bug repellant). I think a lot of our immediate assumptions are “the flowers only affect non-human animals”, but I think that’s only because we never see any humans in Zootopia (which creates a representation bias). If we follow that reasoning, wouldn’t that mean that humans in general (since they are mammals) would be affected by Night Howlers??? 🤔
As for beastmen, merfolk, and fairies… I think whether or not they’re affected (or the degree to which they’re affected) depends largely on how much of them (ie each race) counts as “human”.
Beastmen appear to be mostly human with a few animal traits (mainly their ears and tails), as well as some instinctual behavior (cat/like reflexes on Leona, heightened strength/hearing/speed, etc). I would think that they would probably be affected by Night Howlers, as they boast both traits of humans and what we typically think of as a wild animal.
Merfolk are technically only half human, and half something else entirely, so it’s a bit more murky to hazard a guess on how they would be changed by the flowers. Most sea creatures (yes, including octopuses and eels) do not count as mammals, which conflicts with the key components for Night Howler effectiveness.
There also exists the question of how the merfolks’ transformation potions affect the structure of their cells in order to allow them to have a human form. Does that magic actually temporarily alter their DNA to appear as 100% “human” while they’re under the influence of the transformation potion? If so, wouldn’t that make Night Howlers much more effective on merfolk if they’re in their human forms versus their true forms? However, it’s also possible that merfolk would be affected the same as humans or beastmen, as Night Howlers change the activity in parts of the brain—and as far as we know, merfolk (being half human on top, and retaining that part of themselves in their potion-induced human forms) have similar brain structure as humans. We don’t really have enough information to say. At best, I’d that merfolk would still probably be affected.
I actually don’t think fairies would be affected at all by Night Howlers; unlike beastmen and merfolk, fae seem to be defined as a race entirely different than humans (even if some appear humanoid, the fact remains that they may have “true forms” which can be not human-like at all). This is most notably demonstrated in how fairies consistently refer to non-fairies as “Children of Man”, which defines all others as one group/“of Man” and themselves as decidedly not that. Fairies are also noted as having noticeably longer lifespans than other creatures, appearing youthful even if they are hundreds of years old. Again, this strongly separates fairies from humans, beastmen, and merfolk.
We must also consider that, depending on the species of fairy, they may not count as mammals. For example, dragons are most closely related to reptiles, which aren’t mammals, so it’s likely that dragon fae like Malleus (overpoweredness aside) aren’t affected by Night Howlers. However, the case may be different if there was a subspecies of fairy that did have mammalian traits. It really depends; as Malleus says, there are countless kinds of fae so you can’t really boil them down to being the same thing.

Fatasy-AU: Prince Shoto gets kidnapped by a dragon and brought to it's castle in the mountains. But the dragon is actually a human who just has the ability to shape-shift into a dragon. He is also Shoto's boyfriend. Queen Rei is more irritated than scared for her son, as is everyone else. The big question everyone asks is "Why can't you meet for a day normally?!" The answer: "We are a prince and a shapeshifter. We are not normal."
"We're not normal."
Masterlist
Anime: Mha/ My Hero Academia
Charatcer(s): Shoto Todoroki
Time set point: they're 16
Pronouns used: he/him
Warnings: violence, kidnapping(?)
A/n: don't mind the little thing with Kiri n Bakugou, it's just a thing for ✨lore✨
"Not again.." Rei sighed and stared out the window, watching as a big dragon flew off into the distance, holding her youngest son.
She knew she'd have to, once again, explain to her husband about what their son was up to. He'd of course as always throw a fit and yell about to the servants of how Shoto was so immature for his age.
Everyone else besides the royal family, with the exception of Fuyumi, in the whole kingdom were scared for the young prince. He was getting kidnapped by this dragon! Why wasn't there a party going out to slay the dragon and rescue the prince?
It was because the prince would do this quite often when he wasn't able to sneak out to meet with y/n. It was technically kidnapping, but not at the same time. Y/n just knew that as Shoto being the youngest, he didn't have as much responsibility as his older siblings. Well of course with the exception of expectations his father puts on him.
That being said, y/n just saw that since Shoto seemingly didn't have huge responsibilities like his older family, that he could just steal him away for a bit every few days. And that's exactly what he did.
"Uh! I hate your stupid fucking family!" Y/n hissed, transforming into his humanoid form. His tail swayed behind him, having a sour expression.
Todoroki sighed and embraced him, happy to be out of his castle and now in y/n's secluded one only dragon kin could easily venture out and find.
"I know you do. They're unreasonable." Shoto agreed. He guided y/n to the balcony and jumped up on the thick brick ledge. He patted next to him and smiled.
Y/n exhaled and slowly climbed up, his wings stretching behind him. He dangled his legs and looked down beneath him, at the tall pine trees that were still too tiny to reach the balcony.
"Especially that stupid dad of yours. How do you put up with him?" Y/n clenched his fists, biting into his lip. He hated the king so very much, so much to the point that he'd happily kill him. Even for free!
So many people could benefit from a new king. Hell, Shoto would be an amazing king! Y/n thought about that everyday. But he was too in his thoughts and in the back of his mind, something told him that if Shoto stayed back with his family, then he'd get taken away.
Usually in royal families that have more than one child, the youngest ones get sent off to marry another king or queen or ruler. Y/n was terrified of the thought. He didn't want Shoto to leave him, like everyone else did. Like his family and clan did.
Shoto chuckled, staring off at the sunset. "I ignore him the best of my abilities. I know you don't like him, I don't either."
Y/n hummed, bringing his knee up to his chest. He had a sad look in his eye, remembering the first time he'd actually met the king, and all the events that played after.
"And what is this? Shoto, you choose a filthy looking commoner? I thought I told you I have other royals picked out?" Enji glared down at his son, watching as he just stared ahead of him. Presumably at y/n.
"You sneak out of this castle too much! You're a prince! Where's your manners? Common sense? People out there are out to kill royals like you! How do you know this rat here won't??" Enji continued, getting louder and louder by the word.
Shoto clenched his fists and closed his eyes. "Do not call him a rat, father." He said through gritted teeth, so close to fighting him right then and there.
Guards in the room watched, all completely and utterly stunned. The young prince never talked back to the king, always known to keep his mouth shut and keep quiet.
"I will call it whatever I damn please. Now, you. What do you think you're doing talking to my son? Filthy dragon." He turned his attention to y/n, stepping closer.
Y/n narrowed his eyes, moving his arms in the thick chains on his arms and legs. He snarled and bared his fangs as the king approached, wiggling more in the chains.
"I said speak vermin!" Enji brung up his foot and harshly pressed it down on y/n's back and wings.
He immediately screamed out in pain, whipping his head around to try and bite Enji. The king only scoffed at the poor attempt and kicked him right in the face, watching as y/n fell limp against the concrete floor.
Shoto stared wide eyed, beginning to run towards y/n, but got held back by guards. He tried shoving them away as he desperately called out to y/n, seeing them begin to bleed from the nose and mouth.
"Take it to the chambers. We can show those dragons how weak their kind really are." Enji ordered the guards, as the began unclasping the chains from the floor and from y/n, not knowing y/n hadn't been unconscious.
In mere seconds of y/n being uncuffed, his eyes shot open, pupils thin, as he jumped up and ran out to a window, breaking the glass and jumping through. Mid air he transformed into a full dragon and flew off back home, slowly of course because of a torn wing.
He could hear faint yelling of the king from the castle, and saw flames when he glanced back. Enji must've gotten too mad.
Y/n scoffed to himself and continued his way back home, ready to just relax in the health unit and get treatment.
"Oh? Y/n hey! Wait dude- the fuck happen??" Kirishima worriedly ran to y/n's side before he collapsed, holding him. Y/n looked tired and dazed, tried blood, wounds, and tattered clothes covered his body.
"Here I'll get you to the health unit and- hm? Bakugou?" Kirishima stopped in place, still holding onto y/n as he looked at the blonde that stood infront of him with narrowed eyes.
"What the fuck happened?" Katuski asked immediately, staring at all the damage done to y/n. In his mind, he saw it as nothing but disgraceful. Like y/n wasn't representing dragon kin correctly.
Kirishima adjusted his grip and huffed. "I don't know! Y/n here came staggering into here and he looked about dead! He need to get medical." Katsuki was reluctant but followed behind them all the way to the health unit.
Y/n blinked, glancing up to see Kirishima with a worried but determined face. As well as catching a glimpse of unkept spiky blonde hair as well as a pair of piercing crimson eyed. Then, he fell unconscious.
"Then I woke up, everyone gone. Without a trace. The whole castle and buildings abandoned. And they all left me." Y/n stared down at his lap, holding back his tears he'd repressed for so long. He'd never told anyone about this, not even Shoto.
Because y/n never brung Shoto to the dragons home in fear of them hurting him, so he'd meet up with him in town or out in the woods at night. But now, months after the dragons relocating, y/n was able to bring Shoto to his castle.
Shoto stared, almost dumbfounded by this sudden explanation as to why the kingdom wouldn't see dragons flying far away. It'd been months since any other dragon other that y/n was spotted, and it finally made sense to the prince why.
"My dear, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I-I'm at such a loss for words.." Shoto reached out, grabbing y/n's hand and gently caressing it with his thumb.
Y/n wiped his face and shook his head, smiling. "No no it's fine. I'm a shapeshifter, of course the worlds gonna hate me."
Y/n stood up, looking out at the distance. His pupils were dilated as he got the overwhelming urge to fly up and free fall, catching himself at the last moment.
"Would you like to go in town and check out the vendors? I always like buying things and tipping to help the businesses" Shoto smiled.
Truth be told, Shoto was probably the only Todoroki that went and helped out the commoners. He was greatly liked amongst them, seeing as he was completely different from the king, which the commoners hated with a passion.
"I suppose..let me get my closk." Y/n jumped off the balcony, going into the castle to retrieve his long black cloak that he wore when in human form and would hide his horns, wings, and tail.
Shoto waited for y/n to come, standing on the balcony edge and staring off at the sky. From his view back home, he would usually only be able to look at the sky through an old dirty window. A window that couldn't even open because it was melted shut.
Y/n came back and reached for Shoto's satchel, putting his cloak in and closing it. He gave a nod and shifted into his dragon form, letting Shoto climb on his back before setting off on the direction of the commoner town.
Only about half an hour later, y/n landed in a small clearing surrounded by a thicket of woods. Y/n quickly transformed back to his human form and put on his cloak. It completely covered the top of his head, almost blocking his vision from the hood. The rest of it draped down to the ground, leaving enough space for y/n to fold his wings up to his back and curl his tail around his leg.
"Take my hand?" Shoto offered his hand, smiling politely. Y/n smiled back and took his hand. They began through the far-too-familiar trail they took often, soon emerging just outside the path that leads into the village.
Y/n glanced up, seeing kids running around and laughing. One glanced over at where the couple began making their way into the town. He immediately ran off to his mother and pulled on her skirt, pointing over at them and smiling widely.
"Mommy mommy!! It's the prince!" He squealed. His mother looked away from the group she talked to, seeing the prince and quickly bowed. She glanced at her son, gently hitting his head and making him bow.
"Prince Shoto! Good to see you!" A local bread vendor walked up, completely ignoring y/n and bowing respectfully. Shoto smiled and dipped his head.
"Nice to see you as well, business well?" The vendor asked, glancing at y/n.
Y/n pulled down his hood more, gulping nervously. He knew how the humans thought of dragon kin. They all thought they were disgusting vile creatures that wanted to control and rule the world.
"Ah yes! A lot of travelers are comin' by and they love the fresh bread!"
The two continued their conversation, Shoto soon giving the vendor money to buy a loaf of fresh bread. He planned on going out to an alley that he knew a young kid lived in with strays.
Y/n stayed behind Shoto the whole time, listening to the people talk to him about what's been happening around, informing him of less trace of dragons.
It made y/n sick. It was because they were all happy that the dragon clan that lived not far away, were never seen in months. Only one dragon that never got near.
"Yeah! The dragon never messes with us, probably a weak stray. We're thinking of going to find it and kill it. We could have a dragon feast!" A man cheered, earning approval from people around.
Shoto sighed. It felt like he was the only human who had sympathy for shapeshifters. Maybe it was because most people thought dragons were just big creatures. When they were simply humans that were able to transform to big "scary" creatures.
"If the dragon doesn't mess with you all, then why not just leave it alone? Its friendly, correct?" Todoroki glanced at the man who previously spoke, now staring at him. He scoffed and grumbled, walking off.
Y/n held a hand over his mouth, laughing into it as quietly as he could. People caught on. Including the man.
"You! Do you think this is funny??" He stomped up to y/n, jabbing his finger at his stomach. Y/n shut up immediately, eyes narrowed at the mans hand.
"Do not touch me." He growled out. The man laughed and instead of jabbing him, pushed y/n down to the ground.
He roughly landed on the ground with a loud thud, his cloak falling down onto his shoulders as he snarled.
People gasped, and pointed. Some immediately pulled their children close. Shoto quickly bent down next to y/n, glaring up at the man with his hand on his dagger that rested in a pocket on his belt.
"It's one of those shapeshifters!!" A woman shrieked, causing a huge riot that caused women and children to run off. Some men drew their weapons and yelled for the prince to get back.
"You all are so judgmental!" Y/n stumbled up, throwing his cloak to the ground as he cared his teeth.
His wings flared behind him, tail whipping behind him. His pupils dilated as anger fueled in him.
He looked over at Shoto and gave a sad look. "Get back to the castle. I'll come at midnight."
Shoto sighed and nodded, grabbing y/n's discarded cloak and took steps back. He watched as y/n transformed into his dragon form, snarling at the town before flying off back to his castle.
The prince glared at the people, brushing past them and taking the main path up to his families castle.
Everyone in the castle was asleep, besides a few maids and butlers and of course, the youngest prince.
Shoto leaned against the window frame, seeing the faint flying figure draw closer and closer to him. He stood up and waited to get picked up.
Soon y/n arrived, transforming and immediately embracing Shoto in a long waited hug. Y/n huffed out as he took in the princes scent, smelling the smell of something sweet. He probably had cake for desert.
"And where are you going?"
The two quickly looked into the room to see Queen Rei standing in the doorframe with a pissed expression.
Y/n bowed respectfully. She and Shoto were the only two in the family y/n respected.
"We are going out, I promise I'll be back by sunrise mother." Shoto spoke. He watched for his mother's expression. She sighed and waved them off.
"Why can't you meet for a day normally?" Rei narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. Shoto and y/n looked at each other and smiled. Y/n giggled and wrapped his tail around Shoto.
"We are a prince and shapeshifter. We are not normal."

Ok so about the OCs I mentioned earlier today. Here's a brief rundown of them:
-I generally call their story "Soldiers Poets and Kings"
-The general premise of the world is that there are humans and dragons, and the two have a sort of symbiotic relationship. Humans can generate mana but can't cast magic with it, and dragons can cast magic but can't generate mana.
-Humans can't handle the amount of mana their bodies generate, so all adult humans have a dragon companion who siphons magic off of them. These pairs have a psychic connection that's formed when the dragon half hatches, and this link is what allows the siphoning of mana.
-There's also a secret third kind of person: Drakes! Drakes are inherently tied to prophecies-- anytime there's a prophecy, there's a drake tied to it; and anytime there's a drake, they're involved with a prophecy. Drakes have a humanoid form with unique draconic aspects to them, and form mana siphoning bonds just as humans do. There have been cases of drakes learning to cast magic, but it's not common. It has been documented that drakes are uniquely capable of forming siphoning bonds with each other, and that with more siphoning bonds they grow more likely to cast magic.
-The main characters of the story are three drakes and their corresponding dragon bonds. I love all of them dearly.
-The Sun Bond is made up of Mallory (drake) and Thyrsus (dragon), and are more widely known as the Warriors.
-The Moon Bond is made up of Ripland (drake) and Moonbeam (dragon), and are more widely known as the Diplomats.
-The Sun and Moon bonds were raised together in a citadel atop a mountain and hailed as very high ranking nobility. All four of them were trained from an incredibly young age to fit the roles assigned to them. Generally the four of them have relatively positive outlooks on their prophecy, and their goal has always been to actually fulfill it, though they're kind of growing tired of life at the Citadel.
-The Earth Bond is made up of Shark (drake) and Nill (dragon), and their colloquial name is technically the Survivors, though they aren't nearly as well known as the Sun and Moon bonds.
-The Earth Bond were raised in the middle of the woods by a pair of caretakers sent by the citadel, and were told of a modified prophecy wherin they were the only two involved. They are not excited about their grand destiny and would rather just live their lives as healers by their little town.
-I could go on for days so I'm gonna leave this one here but I will come back to write more about these guys individually because I love them so very dearly

[More] Obey Me Headcanons
[ I didn’t edit this at all, really, but I have around 30 headcanons so far that I’m using for my fic and would like several backups- so, I’m posting it here.)
The ‘Devildom’ is a planet that is larger than ours. ‘Hell’ refers to a part of each territory the Avatar’s govern that is reserved for retaining and torturing human souls. These areas are actually quite small compared to the rest of the land. Each environment is unique, with its own native flora, fauna, land formations, climates, and dangers.
The Devildom resides on a tall, mountain-ringed plateau that towers over the lands around it. It is not the tallest point in the demon world.
Demons have elemental affinities that also define certain weaknesses. A demon that’s used to the heat and gasses of flowing magma would have difficulties in the colder parts of the world, or fighting against a demon or creature who uses a lot of freezing attacks.
There are many places in their realm that even Demons refrain from going, or simply cannot. One such area is a vast frozen land in the far northeast that drops to temperatures low enough that even demons that are developed for icy area’s cannot survive without magical assistance. However, this also makes the area a great place for criminals and the exiled to live should they be able to fight the cold. Demons and such that failed to pass the test of the cold are frequently found encased in the tall, pointed ice spires that jut from the ground- trapped in an unending preservation until the end of days.
There’s a massive crater in one part of the world, in the land Mammon governs, that’s referred to as the ‘Fear Pit’. It’s the aftermath of a massive battle between two demons, and the entire area is cursed with illusions that prey on your fears. It gets worse the closer you are to the bottom. Demons occasionally travel to test their own resolve, though few ever make it to the center- usually opting to turn back before their fear drives them mad.
Beelzebub dislikes thunder because it sounds similar to some sounds he heard in the war
Demon’s are immortal only in that time cannot destroy them, They can still die from wounds and even disease.
Not all demons can speak human languages. There’s plenty in the Devildom/Hell who’ve never set foot in the human realm and have never bothered to learn the realms languages.
On that note, there are more than a few specific demonic dialects spoken in the devildom. The Avatars and most high nobility are required to be fluent in the most common 3 demonic languages.
Demons who came to the Devildom by falling from the Celestial Realm are not considered ‘true demons’, and many have challenged the Avatars solely because of their origins
Demons may have pacts with multiple humans. If a demon who has more than one pact is ordered to do something by multiple pact holders, the demon will obey whoever has the strongest bond with them OR the orders will cancel each other out.
Many species found in the Devildom/Hell and the Celestial Realm are not exclusive to one or the other- dragons and unicorns are found in both, for example, but with different traits and personalities. Dragons in the Devildom are ugly things that spit an acidic venom, while those in the Celestial Realm are sleek and able to shoot blasts of fire from their throats. Some creatures remain the same in each realm, but are referred to by different names. Many mythic creatures from every human culture can be found in both the Devildom and Celestial realm
Though their human forms look rather perfect, everyone who fought in the Celestial War bears a great number of physical scars, some of which affect their human guise as well
Belphegor's right eye is completely blind in all his forms. He tends to hide it in his human appearance because it’s sometimes seen as a weakness by other demons who might try to challenge him. He has the most trouble with demon’s attempting to fight him because he’s often seen as the weakest Avatar due to his sleeping habits and general outward appearance. This is, of course, a massive mistake.
Belphegor frequently wraps his tail around himself (like a hug) for comfort- particularly when he’s alone
Belphegor’s horseshoe was broken during a fight with a demon who wanted to challenge his title/status.
Demons don't usually bury their dead because many simply disappear upon death. How they disappear depends on their primary sin (Wrath erupts in a blast of fire)
Leviathan changes the order of the smiley pins on his clothes depending on his mood (green for happy/content, yellow for neutral, red for angry/upset)
Satan dislikes chocolate
Demons are practically infertile. Children born naturally (human standard) are extremely rare. As such, all demon children are cherished and protected by modern demonic societies as a whole, and intending to harm one is punished harshly.
Lucifer may have birthed Satan from rage, but a demon can create another being from any emotion so long as it’s powerful enough (love, envy, etc). This is much more common than the physical way of creating children. The offspring will generally exhibit whatever emotion spawned them and will behave accordingly to whoever the emotion was directed at. After their birth, they grow very fast until they appear 10-15 years old, and their growth slows immensely.
A specific ritual is required for a demon( or angel) and human to crossbreed with each other, as they are completely different species. It would be like trying to cross a dog with a giraffe. These births are always extremely dangerous for the human mother. There are a few exceptions to this, such as Incubi/Succubi but successful crossbreeding is still extremely rare.
The older a demon is, the more horrific their true forms are. Anyone who has existed before the Celestial War is referred to as an ‘Ancient/Old World’ demon. Those born after and those who fell are considered ‘New Age/Modern’ demons. There are a handful of creatures referred to as ‘Primordials’. These beings are neither demons nor angels, but are immensely powerful and are very secretive. Not much is known about any of them, and they rarely show themselves. They also rarely partake in the social/political conflicts of the three realms. They did not have a presence in the Celestial War.
These titles have no bearing on how civilised someone may be.
There are technically four realms known. The Celestial, Devildom, and Human realms are commonly spoken about but the fourth realm is known as ‘Oblivion’ and isn’t so much a world as it is multitudes of platforms floating throughout a nebula. It’s useless overall but is used as a prison and punishment for the worst of demonkind. Few have ever made it out, but those that have come back a blubbering, maddened shell of who they were. Diavolo and Barbatos both are capable of opening a portal to it.
All demons/Fallen have the capability to return to a monstrous form, but Ancient demons have a particularly difficult time making themselves look human again (some Ancient’s are incapable of returning at all). New Age demons are able to transform much more freely, but if the transformation is brought on by strong negative emotion (rage, fear, or a physical reaction such as pain), it takes much longer to change back
The final stage of demonic courtship involves seeing each other's truest self. This display is a form of trust in the highest regard, the goal being total acceptance of each other. It should never be taken lightly. Not every couple goes through this, but those that do form a deeply personal and permanent bond.
A demon in full form is rare outside battle, though some choose to remain in their appearance as a way of showing off.
Some demons (nobility and such) have several forms outside of their human/humanoid guises
Demons are compelled to chew on things. There are several businesses specializing in ‘demon chew toys’. Gnawing on these can release both stress and anxiety and also helps maintain healthy teeth.
Demons shed their horns, scales, teeth and fur, and will often use these shed materials in their own clothing, jewelry, and other such items. Shedding season differs for every demon- it happens to some every half year, year, couple years, or even centuries. Being given an item made from a demon’s shed is considered a personal gift
Demons can tell the basic emotional state of any human they have a pact with. Whether they react to it or care is another story.
Despite the common opinion that the Devildom doesn’t have a sun, the sky brightens every 3 human world days thanks to the passing of a dwarf star. However, it would be a mistake to believe that the demon world is devoid of light without it! There are plenty of natural light sources that provide the lands with a way to see (for those without night vision), such as glowing crystals and mushrooms, magma, etc.
The Devildom’s planet’s core burns hotter than ours, which counteracts how cold it would be otherwise (though it’s still quite chilly in many parts of the planet)
When Diavolo ordered that no human be harmed in the Devildom again, he also banned all media portraying humans as prey. These books, videos, and movies are now sold on the black markets and hoarded by those who disagree with Diavolo

Long post ahoy, I finally felt like writing it so here it is: A list of the characters who THUS FAR have been assigned established 'canon' monster types in Turnabout Moonlight. PLUS, I wrote up a SECOND list at the bottom which includes all the different monsters that are established to exist in the setting, including brief descriptions of each. I'll probably come back and edit shit on here as I think of things...
Characters
Phoenix Wright: Dragon (partial ancestry; spends the first 26 years or so of his life just looking like a regular-ass human until he manages to awaken deeper abilities.)
Gregory Edgeworth: Human. First became aware of supernatural community through his former spouse; remained involved in magical affairs to fight on behalf of supernatural entities bc of his son.
Miles Edgeworth: Werewolf (born with lycanthropy, inherited from his other parent)
Larry Butz: Caprid (TM goat person; formerly listed as just a regular human whose family was cursed to have persistently terrible luck.)
Dick Gumshoe: Troll
Misty, Maya and Mia Fey: Vulpid
Morgan and Pearl Fey: Vulpid
Dahlia Hawthorne and Iris: Human-Vulpid
Bikini: Vulpid
Manfred von Karma: Human sorcerer; a very highly regarded Rich Douche and bureaucrat in the judicial system which helps govern human-supernatural societal relations.
Franziska von Karma: Lycanthropy-cursed human. (haven't decided quite yet at what point along the timeline she gets turned, but she spends a good chunk of her life living as a regular human sorcerer type like her dad.)
Klavier Gavin: Faerie
Kristoph Gavin: Faerie
Zak and Valant Gramarye: Catfolk
Magnifi and Thalassa Gramarye: Catfolk; bloodline carries enhanced abilities of magical perception.
Trucy Wright: Catfolk; possesses enhanced abilities of perception.
Jove Justice: Lycanthropy-cursed human
Apollo Justice: Werewolf/Catfolk hybrid (born a werewolf, inherited the condition from Jove; unaware of his hybrid status for most of his life. Possesses enhanced abilities of perception inherited from his mother's side, powers boosted by bracelet that helps focus the ability.)
Metis and Athena Cykes: Dragons
Juniper Woods: Cervid (TM deer person; formerly had her listed as a dryad.)
Simon and Aura Blackquill: Half-demons. Aura is physically more visibly demonic than Simon is, as Simon appears almost perfectly human, even without a disguise. Simon is also an accomplished sorcerer and member of the magical bureaucracy.
Taka: Magically enhanced hawk; Simon's familiar.
Byrne Faraday: Harpy (crow type)
Kay Faraday: Harpy (crow type)
Shi-Long Lang: Werewolf (the Lang clan is a very old and and well established werewolf family in Zheng Fa)
Callisto Yew: Faerie
Ema and Lana Skye: Demons ???
The Judge: A telepathic otherworldly being of unknown origin, whose physical form is utterly imperceptible. He still acts exactly the same as in canon and, SOMEHOW, still has grandkids that he's really eager to tell you about.
Deigo Armando/Godot: Sphinx or Manticore (I still haven't settled on which he is, or if he's somehow both)
Sebastian Debeste: Sphinx (tentative)
MONSTER TYPES
Main types:
Dragons: Exceedingly rare and mysterious; as far as anyone is aware no true "pure blooded" dragons exist anymore, and any dragon representation among the cast is limited to what are technically human/dragon hybrids. Draconic abilities are not well understood as they are not only rare but also wildly variable in nature. The only consistently shared trait seems to be that all people with draconic heritage are immune to curses and most magical types of poison.
Vulpid: Humanoid foxes. Tend to be highly proficient in one or more types of magic, transfiguration magic being the most commonly expressed. The Fey clan long ago learned to combine their natural transfiguration magic with their sensitivity to the spiritual afterlife, developing a technique that allows them to channel the souls of the dead into their own bodies.
Werewolves: Humanoid canines (duh). Their arcane biology is exceedingly bizarre and has highly aggressive curse-like properties which can infect/overwrite most other types of magic; because of this, there are both people who are naturally born werewolves, and humanoids who have been infected with 'lycanthropy' and turned into werewolves later in life.
Catfolk: Humanoid felines. Tend to have a strong affinity for illusion magic. It's rumored that some catfolk families are so attuned to that type of magic that they can naturally see through most magical illusions, and even sense if a person is being untruthful.
Faeries: Magical humanoids with some insect-like physiology, who hail from a parallel plane. They have a strong affinity for casting illusion type magic that exceeds even the abilities of most catfolk, moving beyond merely tricking the eye and into fooling the other senses as well. Contact with iron causes them physical harm.
Other monster types established (in need of further development)
Cervid: Humanoid deer. Tend to have a strong affinity for plant magic.
Harpies: Avian humanoids.
Caprid: Humanoid goats.
Trolls: Usually very large, tusked, have big floppy ears and a long tufty tail, eat rocks for sustenance. Nothing else decided about them really decided yet. Possibly turn to rock in the sunlight?
Demons: ...They exist. I haven't really decided what their deal is.

-Songbirds would add SO MUCH life to the otherwise quiet areas of the game
-Ravens and crows would be awesome and could use some of the parrot mimicking AI
-Cardinals in the snow biomes would bring a GORGEOUS pop of colour into the white atmosphere
-Seriously we need something to populate the sky, parrots do NOT fly like they should
-nests in trees, can find eggs in them
-doesn't really add a use but fun new feather types would be cool
•Owls

•Elk and Moose
-Same vein as deer

•Whales
-WHALES.
-Imagine something as massive as the ender dragon but peaceful. Allows you to stand on them (idk how but make it happen Jeb)
-WHALE SONGS.
-Being so deep and far out into the ocean, and when the moon is high in the sky and you're sitting in your boat, you just hear the beautiful melancholy sounds of the whales in the distance
•Jellyfish
-Idk if y'all know this but the glow squid is a bad idea
-Dream buddy you fucked up, please use your influence to get in contact with Mojang and have them redo the vote. People would have so much regained respect for you if you tried to fix your mistake.
-Also why does a speedrunner get to tell millions of people what mob would bring more life to Minecraft? He's only playing the game for 5 minutes smh
-aNYWAYS

•Penguins
-You already know why
-Imagine giving a new home to all the Club Penguin players? Legendary.

•Big cats
-Tigers, lions, bobcats, panthers
-Literally anything that could finally add a strong predator possibility to savannahs and jungles
•Zebras and Giraffes
-Shy and skittish
-cannot ride (their skeletal structure is NOT MADE FOR CARRYING HUMANS)
-Super cute tho, brings much needed life to savannahs
•Camels
-The better llama
-Can honestly just be a reskin
-brings much needed life to the desert
-spits and wears carpet and forms caravans like llamas
•Lemurs
-Easier to add to "jungles" than monkeys
-it would be really cool if we could just get a Rainforest biome
-King Julian stans awaken
•Red pandas
-we need them
-cuter than normal pandas and you can @ me
-better idea than sloths or koalas
•More Eldritch Horror Hostile Mobs
-Fun fact time
-The enchanting table language already has Lovecraftian references
-"phnglui mglwnafh cthulhu rlyeh wgahnagl fhtagn" is literally a quote from the enchanting table
-translates to "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."
-Bet you didn't know that fun fact
-aNYWAYS add the Kraken to Minecraft instead of the shitty guardians. Thanks.
-imagine how cool it would be to see lights slowly extinguish as something terrifying and dangerous slowly moves in for the kill
-torches get extinguished and can get relit
-if not relit fast enough Something will be waiting
•Ice statues
-We have giant fossils and ship wrecks and cool stuff like that but please imagine finding a GIANT humanoid ice sculpture in an ice spikes biome
-maybe bones inside to show you that... That wasn't carved or naturally generated.
•Skeletons
-Not a mob but a decoration block
-Found in temples, mineshafts, and caves
-implied to be the remains of miners and explorers
-rare
-also implies that every skeleton you kill has some backstory since they look the same
•Constellations
-Not real world star maps but completely unique to Minecraft
-chance for LOTS of fun references
-The stars are your only companions in an apocalyptic world where you are the last of your kind
-Space is gay minecraft is gay thus minecraft space is gay
•Corn
-we have butter in this list
-we have salt in this list
-popcorn. That is all.
And finally
•Leeks
-mostly a joke but would be a cool crop
-100% a reference to Hatsune Miku the creator of Minecraft
DISCLAIMER: I recognize that mobs are added to Minecraft to serve a purpose within the game and that many of these mobs would be better in mods and such, but I also feel like many of these suggestions would really bring so much more life to parts of the game that really need it. Even if they don't serve a huge purpose, they would still be really amazing additions imo.
I would love to see the ideas and suggestions that other people have for what they want added to Minecraft, please TAG ME if you make a post like this, I wanna hear and read it!

Logan wanted to test what the creature was saying. Did the blood really go darker the closer to death it got? He would have to test that sometime in the near future.
Actually, he could do that right then. He grabbed the creature from where it was crying in its cage, before strapping it down and inserting the needle into its arm. The blood was still the slightly darker shade from earlier, but Logan wanted it darker.
The creature was staring at the darkening blood container with what looked like horror. Logan found that rather silly, he wasn’t going to let it go black, just a very dark gold. He was watching the container with interest and slight excitement. He stopped the blood extraction when it got to a satisfactory colour, and turned back to the creature.
It seemed very close to passing out, though its eyes were focused on something that wasn’t there.
He heard it mumble something, eyes seemingly following this imaginary thing
“Virgil...?”
————————————————————————
Virgil had been flying around. Seeing Janus have a breakdown over his death had been too painful. Apparently, ghosts had an enhanced sense of hearing, given the fact that he could hear Patton crying from half way across town. He rushed towards the sound, only to see one of the most horrifying things he had ever seen in his life- well, his existence technically, he wasn’t alive anymore.
The human that Roman had first shown him to had Patton strapped to a table, and was stealing the blood from his body. The blood was slowly getting darker until it was almost black, and that’s when the human chose to stop. Based on the containers that decorated the room, the human had done this multiple times before. He flew down to be closer to his friend, turning into his more humanoid form.
He hovered over Patton, who was looking more dizzy by the second
“Virgil...?”
“Yes, Pat, it’s me, I’m here, I’m here..” Virgil could feel the tears welling up in his eyes
“Why can I see through you?” Patton asked, slurring the words slightly
Virgil tried to brush the hair from Patton’s eyes, only for his hand to go straight through. He sighed
“It- it’s a long story, I’ll tell you, but only if you rest first. You lost a lot of blood today, try to get it all back soon” He hoped to all the gods that Patton would still be able to see him if he wasn’t close to death. If not, no one would ever talk to him ever again, seeing as they couldn’t. He pressed his cold lips to the alive fairy’s forehead, making the latter shiver a little, before nodding slightly, the eyelids already beginning to close
“G’night Vee..”
The human looked very annoyed at Patton’s talking, and Virgil wondered if that’s why Patton’s voice sounded unused. If so, than Virgil wished he wasn’t dead, just so he could fight Logan.
Patton didn’t deserve this torture. Logan reached through the ghost, and grabbed the unconscious bluebird, carrying him to an ornate golden bird cage. Virgil floated in after him, almost scared.
How long had this been happening?
————————————————————————
Janus had carried Virgil’s body out to the forest, where he had once lived. Virgil had wanted his funeral to be held outside his house, and the burial to be in his favourite part of the forest.
He stifled a sob at the sight of the house. Virgil had designed it all himself, making it a halloween themed wonderland. Blacks and purples, with a small amount of light blue for Patton and a small yellow window for Janus.
He walked around the house, trying to remember where Virgil put his pre prepared casket. It was quite beautiful, intricately carved with a few of Virgil’s favourite things. Shame that it’ll be a long while until I can use it, right Jan? Virgil’s joking tone flew around his mind, almost teasing.
Janus sobbed. He found the casket, bigger than it needed to be. Virgil expected to die later in life, not now, at 17 years old. He was so young..
He realised something, he hadn’t seen Patton at all. He went towards the village and began asking around
They all told him the same thing: that he had vanished a few days after he had. No. He wouldn’t believe it, he had just lost one friend, he couldn’t afford to lose the other one.
He wouldn’t let Patton die. But he had nowhere to look, and the bluebird could already be dead.

Fate and Phantasms #122: Tristan
Tumblr media
Today on Fate and Phantasms, we’re building another member of the Round Table, Sir Tristan, the “child of sadness”. This knight’s bowstrings are equal part deadly weapons and musical instruments, but his most dangerous weapon is just look at that final ascension art all the KotRT were so close I’m not crying you’re crying.
Check out his build breakdown below the cut, or his character sheet over here!
Next up: Sun’s out, guns out.
Race and Background
Don’t worry, we’re not doing anything weird this time. Tristan is, in fact, a human! As a Variant Human, you get +1 to Dexterity and Wisdom, Performance proficiency, and the Sharpshooter feat. Any cover less than full won’t affect your aim, and you can fire at long range normally. Additionally, you can take a -5 penalty to hit for a +10 bonus to damage.
Much like Lancelot, you’re a Knight of the Order, giving you Religion and Persuasion proficiency.
Ability Scores
Make sure your Wisdom is high- you can hit headshots without opening your eyes, that’s some real good perception. Second is your Charisma, your bow is also a harp, and you’re really good with it. Following that up is Dexterity. Your harp is also a bow, and you’re really good with it. Writing deadly lyrics on the fly isn’t easy, so your Intelligence isn’t bad. After that is Strength- bows actually take a lot of strength to use, but you don’t really need it here so...
That being said, we’re still dumping Constitution. You’re famously unlucky, and you died to poison, that’ll affect your HP almost as badly as Okita.
Class Levels
1. Ranger 1: Being a paladin would be nice, but smiting doesn’t work with ranged weapons. You know what does? Being a ranger. First level rangers get proficiency with Strength and Dexterity saves, as well as three ranger skills. Grab Animal Handling, Athletics, and Perception for better horsemanship and archery skills.
Speaking of better skills, first level rangers can also be Canny, doubling your proficiency bonus in Performance. You can also mark a creature when you hit them thanks to Favored Foe. Once per turn for the next minute, you can add 1d4 to your damage against that target. It’s a bit weaker than Hunter’s Mark, how sad. You can also use it a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.
2. Ranger 2: For your fighting style, Blind Fighting is almost completely useless, but it does explain how you’re able to fight without opening your eyes. (Seriously though if you want a semi-serious build go with Archery, it’s so much more useful than 10′ of darkvision.)
You can also cast Spells this level using your Wisdom. Grab Cure Wounds for some feel-good music, and Snare for your first rope trap. I said you were really good with that bow, and I meant it. This spell creates a rope trap in a 5 foot cube that requires an investigation check (DC eight plus proficiency plus wisdom modifier) to notice. A creature that triggers the trap has to make a dexterity save (same DC) or it’s restrained above the ground. Each turn, the trapped creature can make another dexterity save at disadvantage or another creature can make an Arcana check to free the creature.
3. Ranger 3: Third level rangers join a conclave, and you’re so depressing you’re a Gloom Stalker. You get Disguise Self as part of your subclass, though it’s not particularly in character for you. How sad. You’re also a Dread Ambusher, adding your wisdom to intiative. You can also move faster on your first turn, and you can make an extra attack with your action that turn as well. The extra attack also deals an extra 1d8 damage. You also gain Umbral Sight, a.k.a. 60 feet of darkvision, rendering that blind fighting almost entirely useless. Also, while in darkness, you’re invisible to other creatures with darkvision.
You also get Primeval Awareness, letting you spend an action and spell slot to sense aberrations, celestial, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead within a mile of you. Finally, you get another spell. Entangle creates a larger area snare that requires a strength save to break free from if you’re caught in the area when it’s cast. Regardless, the area is difficult terrain until your concentration is broken.
4. Ranger 4: Use your first Ability Score Improvement to bump up your Dexterity for a higher AC and better archery skills.
5. Ranger 5: Fifth level rangers get an Extra Attack with their attack action, and they can cast second level spells. Your free spell here is another very fancy way to use your bowstrings, Rope Trick. This spell sends a rope 60′ straight up and creates an extradimensional space for you and up to seven friends. You’re relatively safe inside for the duration, just make sure you’re out before the hour’s up. Falling sixty feet doesn’t seem like fun.
You can also create a Cordon of Arrows to protect an area, throwing four arrows at creatures who come too close. Almost as deadly as your bow, and significantly less work for you.
6. Bard 1: I told you we were making that bow a harp. First level bards can cast Spells using their Charisma, and they can mete out Bardic Inspiration as a bonus action, giving an ally a d6 they can add to one skill check, saving roll, or attack roll. You can use this a number of times per long rest equal to your charisma modifier.
For spells, Prestidigitation will help you turn your bowstrings into smaller objects; Vicious Mockery, Dissonant Whispers, and Bane give you minor curses you can place with your dirges; and Healing Word and Heroism gives you some more positive energy to hand out to party members. Don’t get those mixed up, that would be sad.
You also get another skill proficiency; you’re good at getting out of the way of attacks, so I’d say that’s Acrobatics.
7. Bard 2: Second level bards are Jack of All Trades, giving you half proficiency on all your checks that don’t already have your proficiency bonus. You also make Camelot a bit more lively with your Song of Rest, enhancing healing done during short rests by 1d6. Finally, you get Magical Inspiration, meaning your inspiration dice can now be used to give spells more damage or healing.
For spells, you can now turn your bowstrings into a safety net, thanks to Feather Fall.
8. Bard 3: Your college of choice is the College of Whispers, giving you the ability to curse people in casual conversation thanks to your Words of Terror. Speaking to a humanoid alone for at least a minute forces a wisdom save or they become frightened of a creature of your choice for an hour or until they or their allies are seen being attacked. You can use this once per short rest. Go on, make your king afraid of herself, I’m sure it won’t backfire.
You also get Psychic Blades, allowing you to burn inspiration to add psychic damage to your attack once per round.
Finally, you get Expertise in two skills, doubling your proficiency bonus. Grab Perception to help you see with closed eyes and Performance because I’m a sucker for quadrupling things.
You can also cast Lesser Restoration for a stronger form of healing music, removing some of your party’s debuffs.
9. Ranger 6: At sixth level your Favored Foe grows to 1d6, making it almost as good as Hunter’s Mark. You also become Roving, giving you 5 extra feet of movement, plus a swimming and climbing speed. You might not get a fancy magic horse like the other knights of the round but... actually no, you should probably still get a horse.
10. Ranger 7: Seventh level Gloom Stalkers get an Iron Mind, giving you proficiency in Wisdom saves. You can also cast Healing Spirit this level for some hands-free healing, so you can heal while you heal! Or curse while you heal, either’s good.
11. Bard 4: Use this ASI to bump up your Charisma for more inspiration and better bard spells. You can also cast True Strike if you need to remember what a tragedy looks like, or Calm Emotions to make your enemies too depressed to fight.
12. Bard 5: Your Bardic Inspiration and Psychic Blades both grow in power, and you become a Font of Inspiration, recharging your inspiration on short rests instead of long ones.
Your final bardic spell is Bestow Curse, allowing you to technically do anything you want with the DM’s approval. Given curses include: Disadvantage on one ability score’s checks and saves. Disadvantage on attack rolls against you. Wasting a turn every time they fail a wisdom save. Dealing extra damage to them. Have some fun with it, they certainly won’t.
13. Ranger 8: Bump up your Wisdom with this ASI for a better initiative and stronger spells. You’re also Fleet of Foot, meaning you can move through difficult terrain quickly, and you don’t take damage from nonmagical plants. You also get advantage on magical plant spells. Not... super useful, but it’ll give you a better shot against Poison Ivy.
14. Ranger 9: Ninth level Gloom Stalkers can cast Fear, in case you weren’t giving your foes enough debuffs as is, and you also get Conjure Barrage to make your Failnaught truly unavoidable. Except by monks. And rogues. Still pretty good though.
15. Ranger 10: You’re now Tireless, meaning you can spend an action (a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus) to gain temporary hp. Your exhaustion also decreases on short rests too. You can also use Nature’s Veil to become invisible for a round as a bonus action, the same number of times per long rest as Tireless. We’re going a bit heavy on the evade spam here to make up for the fact that we dumped constitution what is wrong with us.
16. Ranger 11: Thanks to your new Stalker’s Flurry, you can’t miss even if you do miss- you can make an extra attack as part of your attack action if one of your normal attacks missed.
You can also cast Protection from Energy this level, because honestly we weren’t sure what to do here. You’ll get more Tristany spells when we get fourth level slots, promise.
17. Ranger 12: For your final ASI, bump up your Charisma again for stronger bard spells and a better performance overall.
18. Ranger 13: For your fourth level spells, Freedom of Movement and Greater Invisibility give you even more ways to avoid capture and damage. Ah, they keep missing. How sad.
19. Ranger 14: Your Favored Foe grows to a d8 now, and you can Vanish as a bonus action,  meaning you can hide and nobody can track you without magic.
20. Ranger 15: Fifteenth level Gloom Stalkers can make a Shadowy Dodge as a reaction, giving disadvantage on an attack roll against you if the attack wasn’t made with advantage.
You can also turn your bowstrings into a Grasping Vine, forcing your opponents to dance like puppets. On a- on a string. You get it?
Pros
Thanks to all those evades you can pump out and your ability to maneuver in darkness, you’re very hard to hit. Turn invisible, dodge weirdly, stay invisible, or make your target fear you, it’s all good.
Thanks to your curses and fear building skills, you’re a good debuffer, which can help whittle powerful enemies down while your party starts getting hits in.
Thanks to spells like Cordon of Arrows, Snare, and Grasping Vine, you can also set up plenty of battlefield hazards to control and slow enemy movement. Nobody wants to rush in just to get flung into the air like a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
Cons
Remember how we dumped constitution at the beginning? That’s going to bite us in the ass. Even at level 20, you still have less than 100 hp, meaning if a wizard with Power Word Kill spots you your story’s ending early. This is why going invisible is so useful for you.
Blind Fighting would be more of a gimmick usually, but you’re an archer! Seriously, just take archery.
Being a bard and a ranger means you split your magic abilities between charisma and wisdom, eating up a lot of ASIs that could have gone towards your dexterity or constitution instead for more survivability and bow damage.

I keep pinballing between monster Gordon designs in my head, and the most common contenders have been and owlbeast form like from The Owl House (bc him fluffy), that one humanoid design where his hair is super long and floaty and full of eyes, or a spiky dragon with near geometric scale spikes (bc the irony that his monster form is all sharp and pointy but his human form and personality are so soft and cuddly)
Bubby is usually the fire type of the group, so i always imagine monster Gordon with magma or plasma? Plasma maybe better, fits a celestial theme.
ooooh, that’s neat! i like the idea of monster gordon with plasma and lightning powers might have to incorporate that with the one i’m picturing. imagine electricity arching between his mane tendrils and whiskers and stuff, which signifies that something is about to get plasma breath’d also OOPS THIS PROMPTED ME TO SHARE A LOT OF THOUGHTS SO THIS GOT LONG, putting the rest under a read more ha ha
another thing about the monster gordon au i’ve been thinking about is that he’s not a straight-up cosmic entity like i picture benrey being, but more of just an alien from another dimension, like the critters from xen (he’s not from xen, though. whole ‘nother place entirely!) in this au, i still have gordon and benrey having known eachother as children, only this time gordon was the lil monster kid living in the woods, of course. and also, kid benrey actually saw his monster friend get carted off by black mesa! he saw the company’s logo on a vehicle or equipment or something, and never forgot it. benrey and his folks move to new mexico when he’s like, 13, and ends up befriending their new neighbor- a twenty-something guy named tommy. eventually, benrey learns that tommy’s working for this lab called black mesa, and when he sees the place’s logo he’s just !!!!!! and immediately decides he needs to try and get in that place. he doesn’t know shit or fuck about science, so trying to get a scientist job there is out. but maybe they’re hiring for like, a janitorial or security position? he’s pretty fit, and knows how to mop a floor and shoot a gun. so he goes for that. gordon still completely forgets his human childhood friend, though, awww. though that might be partially blamed on some of the experiments conducted on him. speaking of his time as a research specimen, he actually had it a tiny bit better than benrey did. didn’t take until he was in his teens before a much more caring scientist showed up to make sure he had good mental, emotional, and physical enrichment. and instead of that scientist being tommy, like for benrey... for gordon, it’s coomer. dad coomer momence :) they find gordon much more willing to cooperate after he imprints on coomer, too. and also take note of how active his curiosity is, with the alien asking so many questions and looking for so many answers for about how things work, especially when he hits his teens. somewhere along the line, some ‘mesa higher ups decide to let this xenoguy indulge his apparently scientific mind, and give him a job (he’s still required to check in for tests on himself, and not allowed to leave the facility, though). even tho he’s not an eldritch horror, he’s still got shape-shifting powers, and takes on a human form, both because all the spaces he’d work in were made with humans in mind, and to reduce the number of weird looks from literally everyone outside of sector E. and because he looked human, benrey didn’t recognize gordon at all, but also couldn’t shake this weird vibe he was getting from him. vibe increases after he sees this guy heading to do a dangerous test without one of the fancy hazard suits (being near-indestructable, he doesn’t need one). just before they get to where the test chamber is, and benrey asks him again why he doesn’t have a HEV suit if he’s really supposed to be here, gordon yells “BECAUSE I’M NOT FUCKING HUMAN, OKAY?? Now will you PLEASE let me go do my fucking job, I’m running so god damn late, christ...” the “not human” part is emphasized by gordon briefly showing a glimpse of his true form. which benrey instantly recognizes. ...aaaand then feels bad about the “i need to make sure you’re nice or not, everybody here’s afraid of you” thing. in this case, some of the other employees in sector C were afraid of gordon, as they knew what he was. benrey was a new hire and didn’t (obviously) and didn’t get why some of the scientists and guards were acting nervous around this seemingly friendly (if short-tempered) guy. but now he does. as well as why gordon looked a little self-conscious about it when benrey brought it up. whoops. even though monster!gordon doesn’t wear a HEV suit, he still has trackers that the military use to hunt the science team down. the trackers are just, y’know, in him. and unfortunately, nobody on the team knows exactly where they were stuck in him, and he doesn’t wanna just go clawing himself open everywhere to find the damn things. so the betrayal still happens, though benrey is def not feeling it as much, cause like, he JUST found his old alien friend and was gonna bust him out!! which obviously he can’t do if the fuckin’ military gets a hold of him. but then, he also can’t bust gordon out if he himself gets killed by the military... so turning gordon in is the lesser of two evils. turn him in now, and then try to free him again later. that’s the plan. of course, the bootboys ambushing gordon aren’t at all prepared. they weren’t properly informed on everything about gordon, and for about this whole time, gordon’s been taking on a human form. said form being considerably smaller than his true one. gordon does not black out and get tossed in (the wrong part of) a trash compactor. he does still get pissed at bubby and benrey, though. but this time, he forgives benrey first, as the guy gets way, WAY more emotional over this all than gordon’s ever seen from him. showing off a ton of genuine guilt and regret over it, and also explains why he did it right away (even tho gordon’s still convinced he and benrey never met until the test). bubby mostly just seems scared shitless, oops. but gordo does forgive him before it’s all said and done. they still run into coomer clones and less-than-stable bubby prototypes (which are now just clones as well because reasons). bubby’s not a genetically engineered perfect organism, but a regular/realistic ‘test-tube baby.’ he’s still got a bionic heart, though. coomer’s still a cyborg, too, but not really a super-powered one. his robotic limbs are just advanced in that they’re as dexterous as his old natural limbs, and have artificial touch receptors. they’re also made out of materials that are sturdy as all fuck. they’re just a couple of dudes, as far as physical abilities go. their clones, however? still very fucked up. possibly a little bit more fucked up. this au is also another “not a game” one, and there’s a different reason for why coomer’s clones seem to have a weird connection with gordon/gordon’s brain. bubby’s do, too. those clones aren’t just clones, but also results of genetic splicing experiments. i’ll let you guess where the other non-coomer/bubby genes that were spliced in came from. go on. guess. i haven’t thought about what happens when they get to xen too much. probably just that they fight the nihilanth, since i headcanon that it was indeed still the cause of the xen portals, but benrey ate it to steal its sick boss arena. gordon however wouldn’t do that, as he doesn’t get pissed at any of the team to, y’know, wanna go final boss on them. still gotta be the big hero man (even when he’s not technically a ‘man’). after they get back from xen, tommy prob manages to convince his dad to convince his employers to NOT lock gordon up in a lab again, as it would both mean a lot to his best friend benrey (who is like a little brother to him), and because he’s become fast friends with gordon himself and thus cares about him. i’m also trying to decide if i still want mr. coolatta to be an eldritch being or make him human, too. kinda leaning towards letting him stay non-human, though this time tommy doesn’t have any of the ‘buffs’ i say his adoptive dad gives him in my other not-a-game aus. aaaand that’s all the thoughts i’ve had on this thus far!
